Finally, after lots of delays due to lack of transport or waiting for equipment to turn up we got ourselves down to Hellingly Hospital, East Sussex. It was definitely worth the wait though, as soon as we turned up and saw the sheer size of the site we was impressed, and once inside it really was just what we had hoped. Armed with a new Canon XL2 camera and my Zoom H4 recorder, we didn't mess around straight in through the first possible entrance and started shooting. Filming was a breeze so much choice, sound was trickier; an abandoned asylum in the middle of the quietest parts of East Sussex doesn't provide much sound. Still a really successful day and lots of stuff for inspiration.
Footage to follow...
